Toronto Research Chemicals Inc. (TRC) is a world leader in the manufacture of complex organic chemicals for biomedical research. We supply products world-wide to a client base including major biotechnology based corporations , pharmaceutical and diagnostic companies, manufacturers of specialty chemicals as well as to researchers at hospitals, universities and research institutions. TRC was founded in 1982 as a Canadian-owned corporation. TRC currently occupies 42000 sq.ft. of state of the art laboratory space and operates pilot plants with the capability of doing complex custom chemistry on scales of up to 200kg. In addition to maintaining a strong emphasis on custom synthesis,TRC currently manufactures as catalogue items, more than 11000 organic chemicals for use in biomedical research. TRC has chemical expertise in the areas of carbohydrate chemistry, aromatic chemistry, nitrogen, phosphorous and sulfur chemistry as well as radioisotope and stable isotope labeling. All catalogue chemicals are available for on-line ordering. You can search for chemicals by complete or partial strings, or you can browse through our extensive list of Chemicals by category. Duty, applicable taxes, freight charges and any special packaging charges are excluded and will be added to the invoice. Products and prices are correct at the time of printing but are subject to change without notice. Current prices will be confirmed at the time your order is placed. Shipping It is our policy to combine safety and economy to provide the quickest, most efficient method of transportation. TRC uses priority overnight delivery services. Whenever possible, we will ship by the method specified by the customer. Shipment of hazardous items is governed by the Ministry of Transportation and the International Air Transport Association (IATA). Products that require special packaging and shipping may incur additional charges per shipment. TRC adheres to all regulations governing the transportation of our products. Return to top Lost or Damaged Shipments Products are sold F.O.B. shipping point, fully insured at the buyer's expense. However, if assistance is required in filing a claim for a lost, incomplete, or damaged shipment, we will be happy to help you. Return to top Purity TRC considers quality an essential criterion for every product. All chemicals listed are subjected to testing by our quality control department for determination of purity. Purity and physical constants stated in the alphabetical section and on our labels are typical values; they may vary slightly from batch to batch. Return to top Toxicity and Hazards Due to the potential danger associated with the use of some of TRC products, all of our chemicals should be handled by qualified personnel only; trained in laboratory procedures, and familiar with potential hazards. Information is not available on the possible hazards of many compounds. The absence of a warning must not be interpreted as indication of safety. The ultimate responsibility for the proper handling of any and all chemicals lies with the user. All goods sold by TRC carry the condition that liability for any injury, loss or damage whatsoever to persons or real property resulting from the handling of the said goods lies with the user. Acceptance of our goods binds the customer to these terms. Warranties TRC warrants that its products shall conform to the description of such products as provided in TRC's catalogue. This Warranty is exclusive, and seller makes no other warranty, expressed or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose. TRC's sole and exclusive liability and Buyer's exclusive remedy with respect to products proved to TRC's satisfaction to be defective or nonconforming shall be the replacement of such products without charge or refund of the purchase price, at the sole discretion of TRC, upon the return of such products in accordance with TRC's instruction. TRC shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential or contingent damages. Buyer must notify TRC within five days after the products have been received or such products shall be deemed to have been accepted. No license or immunity under any patent is granted or is to be implied by or from the sale of any product. TRC's products are intended primarily for laboratory research and manufacturing purposes, and unless otherwise indicated are not to be used for any other purposes. Buyer agrees to indemnify and hold TRC harmless from and against any and all losses, damages and expenses whatsoever or howsoever caused, arising from any use of the product by Buyer, and assumes all risk and liabilities resulting from the use of the products whether used singly or in combination with other products. Return Policy TRC's customer service department is available to assist you should a problem arise with your order. Please inspect your packages immediately upon receipt and notify us promptly of any damage or discrepancies. Should an item be shipped to you incorrectly, as the result of an error on our part, we will take quick and appropriate action to correct the problem. If an item is incorrectly ordered a 30 % restocking fee will be charged. Prior to returning any items, please contact TRC's customer service to obtain a Return Goods Authorization Number (RGA #) and shipping instructions. A RGA # will ensure the safe and proper handling of material and enables us to expedite a resolution. Items returned without prior authorization may not be accepted.
